Recreational Classes Information.
St Albans Gymnastics Club is proud of it's comprehensive recreational classes.
The classes not only encompass the British Gymnastics Association Awards Schemes* but also help children to increase coordination, spatial awareness, fitness and self esteem.
Each week we have a different move or skill that we concentrate on in order to help our members improve or achieve.
All members are included in a fun and stimulating environment where coaches help the gymnasts to understand that their own achievements are a direct result of their own perseverance.
*British Gymnastics Awards Scheme Badges and Certificates must be purchased individually from the club and all parents will receive a slip informing them when their gymnast has passed a Badge and the cost of the Badge & Certificate. This includes British Gymnastics Core Proficiency Badges & Certificates and British Gymnastics Individual Apparatus Awards(Advanced Proficiency).
Gymnasts will usually complete two badge classes per term (unless we are working on routines for Christmas), the second of these will be the assessment and they will then be handed a slip informing the parent of which badge they have completed.
The slips will have a payment deadline and orders after this date may have to wait until the next term. The badges and certificates will be handed out as soon as the club receives them.
