Welcome to St Albans Gymnastics Club
British Gymnastics registered, Eastern Counties Gymnastics Association affiliated and Hertfordshire Gymnastics Association affiliated, we are open Monday - Saturday.
Founded in 2005, St Albans Gymnastics Club provides fun and effective recreational classes as well as a professionally managed competition squad training programme. We feel our fees are competitive and are proud that we can provide well structured recreational classes for both boys and girls aged 5+, we believe gymnastics should be accessible and affordable for everyone!
Exciting News - Club Announcement!
Dear Parents and Gymnasts,
I am extremely excited to be able to tell you about some upcoming changes we are making at St Albans Gymnastics Club.
From September 2014 all our recreational classes will be moving to Townsend School, a few minutes away from our existing location at Stags. We have deliberately chosen a new venue close to our existing venue at Stags to make the transition as smooth as possible for all our members.
The Townsend change is incredibly exciting as it means we will have a dedicated space - exclusively for our recreational members. This means that from September we will be able to increase the number of spaces and classes so more people can enjoy the sport we love. We also feel that the quality of class will improve as gymnasts will have even more time on apparatus and this will support their learning as they progress through the awards system with us.
Please don't worry about your son or daughter's spaces as all existing members have been taken into account and classes will still run at the same times and on the same days.
We will not be raising our fees at all. I made a promise when the club opened (8 years ago this September) that the standard £6.00 per class for a one hour class will be frozen as long as we are able to keep running our classes at this cost. Instead of raising fees I've made the decision that we can increase membership as an alternative and let more people from the surrounding area enjoy gymnastics, so, if you know anyone who might be interested in a Free Trial Class for September get them to email us on email@example.com
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all members, old and new, for your support since St Albans Gymnastics Club first opened in 2006. We are lucky to have you and we recognise that it's only through your ongoing commitment that we are able to evolve, progress and make these changes for our members.
I'll add some details on how to find us in our new home at Townsend School ready for September on our Contact Us page nearer the time.
Please feel free to come talk to me, email or ask me about any questions you may have regarding the changes.
With that, thank you, I hope you all have a great summer and on behalf of all our coaches, we look forward to seeing you at Townsend in September!
