  FAQs

How do I pay for classes?

You can pay by cash, cheque or bank transfer, details will be given with all invoices.

What should my child wear for class?

Shorts, Leggings or Joggers (NO "Jeggings" - denim leggings, no denim at all is a general rule as well as zips and any large toggles on clothing) and a T-shirt are fine until a club leotard is purchased.

Please note that NO Jewellery is permitted inside the gymnasium. Earrings should be taped over or removed completely.

Any hair long enough to be tied back must be tied back securely, no plastic headbands are permitted inside the gym.

The club's coaches reserve the right to turn away anyone who they do not feel is suitably dressed, this includes any denim, big toggles, zips or buttons on clothes. Hoodies are also inappropriate.

If we are running late, can my son/daughter still participate?

If you arrive within the first 10 minutes of the class, you son or daughter can still participate. If you arrive any later than 10 minutes we cannot allow your gymnast to join in due to the fact you have missed allocated warm-up time and this could lead to injury.

What are your term dates?

Our term dates can be found on our Term Dates page.

Can we still join your classes after the term has started?

Yes, you can join at any time and we will adjust your fees accordingly.

What if we forget to bring a bottle of water to class?

We have a supply of plastic cups intended for emergencies only as most classes are 1 hour long.

My son/daughter has a problem we do not feel comfortable speaking to the Head Coach or Recreational Manager about, what do we do?

We would hope that this type of situation should never arise, however, if you would like to speak to someone about an issue in regard to your son/daughter please contact our Welfare Officers, Nancy or Ann, who are trained and have undergone British Gymnastics & NSPCC Time to Listen training, and they will help you from there.

Contact details will be freely given to anyone who requests them, without question.
